Here at Bucks we offer a wide range of support for NEW students. Coming to University is exciting but can be a daunting task and we can provide you with all the help and support that you need during your first few weeks of getting here.

We provide two main services for new Students: Freshers Helpers and Buddy's. More information can be found below on both schemes along with details on the Bucks 'Cash Back' Bursary and The Big Deal.


FRESHERS HELPERS:



Freshers Helpers are current students who are employed during the first two weeks of term to help new students settle into their environment.

BUDDYING



Buddying is a unique scheme whereby current Bucks New Uni students contact prospective and new students by text; providing support and guidance.

BUCKS 'CASH BACK' BURSARY

This unique offer see's all full-time undergraduate students for whom the tutition fee is £3,225 per year receiving £500 cash each year. This is a non-means-tested cash bursary payment transferred directly into your student bank account.

THE BIG DEAL

September 2008 saw the roll out of the Big Deal - a support package that entitles all Bucks Students (and alumni) to a host of events, sports and other activities for FREE. You can out more information about the BIG DEAL by clicking here.
