What is RAG?
Raise and Give is the section of the Students’ Union that helps students to raise as much money for worthy causes as possible whilst they are at University.
The emphasis of RAG is to raise money whilst having fun, so we support our students to participate in a number of comical and challenging activities throughout the year to raise money for the charities they choose.

This year we are supporting:
Learn As One: Learn as One focuses on raising money to build and fund schools for children in Africa. It’s a fantastic charity to be involved with as their mission as well as raising money, is to inspire people and persuade them to do whatever they can to help these children go to school. 75 million children in Africa are not enrolled in primary school, so raising funds for this cause is vital.

The Pepper Foundation
The Pepper Foundation provides funds for The Pepper Children’s Nurses managed by The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home Service (IRHH). The nurses provide much needed professional and loving home care on a 24 hour, 365 days of the year – on-call basis, for seriously ill children throughout the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire area.
