That doesn’t mean, though, that you don’t want to be consulted on big issues at Bucks or give your feedback on what’s happening at Uni and what your experience has been like as a student.
That is why we have created Bucks Power, a new group that seeks to give students a more informal route to submitting feedback. We will contact you throughout the year and ask you what you think about the big issues. These could be anything from course closures and new facilities to the quality of the teaching you receive.
We will let you know what the University is up to and what the Union is doing about it. All you have to do is talk to us; this might be via text, email, Facebook or Youtube. In return we will make you one promise; you won’t have to attend stuffy meetings!
You will also be the first to know about campaigns we are planning and how to get involved. Whether that is sending an email to the Vice Chancellor or joining us at a demonstration.
Whether you want to become an armchair activist or a demonstration junkie this is the group for you. Join us and help to transform you student experience.
We know that not all members of our Students’ Union (and if you are a student at Bucks then you are instantly our member) want to stand in elections and become an officer or a Student Rep (Its great if you do!).
