As a current nursing student going into my third year, I am one of the students that have come from the life at Chalfont into the new Uxbridge campus and believe whilst the change of campus was unavoidable and will improve the academic aspects of the course, the social and community side of the university for nursing students has been lost which I don’t feel as acceptable. I feel that coming to university should entail more than just work and should enable access to all students regardless which campus they are at whether they wish to take part in potery classes or have easy access to the students union. If elected I aim to improve this as well as provide a link between the university and the students to iron out any problems of the new campus.
