You can gain leadership, teamwork and communication skills through being a Sabbatical Officer or Union Councillor
Background
Students unions pride themselves on being led by their members and now it is your chance to take the lead at Bucks! We are electing 3 paid full-time sabbatical officers and 20 Union Councillors NOW who will provide leadership to ensure that Bucks Students' Union has a positive impact on the experience of all students at Bucks.
If successful you will have the opportunity to become involved in running an organisation which turns over in excess of £2 million, organises hundreds of events each year and that runs high profile campaigns. Being a Sabbatical (President or Vice-President) or Councillor is excellent for your graduate prospects and will help you to get the most out of your experience.
So don’t miss out on the chance to help Bucks Students’ Union have a profound impact for its members!
Candidates have to nominate themselves, citing the reasons why they are most suitable, by submitting a nomination form. These forms can be found by clicking the links below or in the SU Office:

Following the close of nominations candidates will be invited to a short meeting and are then able to start their campaign and tell students why they should vote for them.
A short election will then be held, both online and through on-campus ballot boxes.
