Because everyone is interested in something! |
Clubs and Societies offer an opportunity to get together with a group of like minded individuals who share an interest or hobby.
By getting involved in a club or society you not only get to participate in an activity or event that you enjoy, you also have an opportunity to help shape and develop the society through various committee positions, which not only ensures the longevity of the society but also looks good on your C.V.
Getting involved in a club or society is a brilliant way to meet new people, try something new, to make sure you don’t have to give up the things you like just because you have moved away and also to offer something to people that they may have never considered doing before.
A society can be started for almost any event, activity, past time or hobby so you can be as imaginative as you like!!

Start your own club or society |
Not seen anything that interests you? Got a group of similar minded people who have the same interests? Then why not start your own club or society?
The Union can provide all the help and support that you will need to get your society up and running and can even help provide some financial capital to get your club or society up off the ground.
You can download the Clubs and Societies pack below or you can call into the Student Activities office located in the Students' Union offices for more information.
