American football

BNU Buccaneers were established in 2007 and play on Sunday afternoons in the British Universities American Football League (BUAFL) Thames Valley Conference. They are one of the Universities quickest growing and most successful sports teams.

Athletics

Bucks Athletic Team welcomes athletes from all forms of track and field and compete twice a year at the British University College Sports (BUCS) national indoor and outdoor championships

Badminton

Bucks Badminton Club is a group of individuals who get together for the enjoyment of badminton. Both teams compete in the British University College Sports (BUCS) leagues and have a men’s team in 4A and a ladies team in 3A.

Basketball

Bucks Basketball Club competes in the British University College Sports (BUCS) leagues and they have a men’s team in 4A and a ladies team in 3A

Cheerleading

BNU Swans have both a cheer and dance squad who compete against other university and independent squads throughout the country. They take part in competitions run by the British Cheer Association (BCA) and Future Cheer and last year won nine trophies.

Cricket

The Cricket Club offer training all year round and welcome players of all standards. They currently have two men’s teams and compete in both the BUCS indoor and outdoor leagues.

Dance

The Bucks Dance club cater for styles and abilities and is both social and fun. The club also have an elite competition squad who compete in competitions against other universities.

Football

Bucks Football Club is the largest club in the University, with seven men’s and one ladies team. They all compete in the British University College Sports (BUCS) Leagues with the men’s 1st being in 2A and the ladies in 2B.

Futsal

Bucks Futsal Club is the newest sports team at the University. There is one men's futsal team who compete in the British University College Sports (BUCS) Futsal Premier South Eastern division. The fixtures are played on a Sunday and is an excellent opportunity to compete in a new club without having to choose between desired sports that all compete on a Wednesday.




Golf

The Bucks Golf Teams are the strongest of all Bucks’ team’s currently playing in the British University College Sports (BUCS) Leagues, with the 1sts being in the premier league and the 2nds being in 1A

Hockey

Hockey, at Bucks, was one of the success stories last season, with both the men’s and ladies teams getting promotion into 3A and 4A respectively in the British University College Sports (BUCS) League. The ladies also have a development squad for all those budding and developing players.

Karate

Bucks Karate Club welcomes everyone, whether you wish to take up karate for the first time or continue whilst at university. There is also a chance to compete for the University in the British University College Sports (BUCS) National Championships. 




Netball

The Bucks Netball Team is the largest female sports club at Bucks, boasting three teams that play in the British University College Sports (BUCS) League. They also have a development squad for all those budding and developing players.

Rugby

Bucks Rugby Club is one of the Universities longest standing clubs, with two men’s and a ladies team all playing in the British University College Sports (BUCS) League. There is a strong community partnership with High Wycombe Rugby Club offering the chances to play at the weekend.

Squash

The Bucks Squash Club is one of the newest clubs at the University and is looking to recruit players of all standards and ability – from beginners to regular players. They also offer the chance to play competitively in the British University College Sports (BUCS) League for those who want to. 




Swimming

Bucks Swim Team caters for both competitive and social swimmers and enters in the British University College Sports (BUCS) Championships. There are also opportunities to enter these events in the individual categories.

Snow s
ports

Bucks Snowsoc is one of the Universities largest and most active clubs, combing the opportunity to ski or snowboard either competitively or recreationally. They have regular trips to the local indoor ski centre and there are opportunities to compete at the British University Snow Council (BUSC) Championships.

Table tennis

The Bucks Table Tennis Club is another new club at the University and is looking to recruit players of all standards and ability from beginners to regular players. It also offers the chance to play competitively in the British University College Sports (BUCS) League.




Taekwondo

Bucks Taekwondo Club welcomes everyone, whether you wish to take up Taekwondo for the first time or continue whilst at university. The club regularly compete in regional and national competitions and attend master classes and training camps.
