The British Student Taekwondo Federation (BSTF) includes dozens of clubs and organises many training events & tournaments including annual championships and a 2-day fight camp held in Aylesbury. Competitions include sparring, breaking and patterns.
Leave University with a Black Belt
With dedicated training, you could grade every 3 months and within 3 years achieve a WTF Taekwondo black belt recognised worldwide. The intermediate coloured belts are recognised throughout Europe.
This is the home page of the BNU Taekwondo Club. Started in 2005, the club is now in its sixth year. in 2008 we obtained official sport status with the Student Union, with all the benefits that Athletic Union membership entails. We regularly compete in tournaments; our current medal tally is 11 Golds, 7 Silvers and 15 Bronzes.
The club has students with a wide range of abilities and welcomes both beginners and experienced martial artists, students or non-students. We practice WTF taewondo (the Olympic style), and currently train three times a week on the High Wycombe Campus. Our instructor is a third Dan WTF Black Belt.
